Welcome to Sally’s Non-Fiction Book Club!
Are you a business owner or a professional looking to improve yourself or your organisation?
Have you got a big pile of business or self development books you’ve been meaning to read for ages?
Would you like to meet like-minded professionals to discuss business, growth and self-development?
Sally’s Book Club celebrates the joy of Non-Fiction and learning with like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly online space. Hosted online on the last Wednesday of each month and everyone is welcome!
Sally’s Book Club was created with a desire to learn more in a relaxed and friendly environment. And, with a keenness to have accountability for reading business and self-development books regularly.
Sally’s Book Club was launched in January 2024 as Sally had about 42 Non-Fiction books on her ‘to read list’. Sally loves reading and learning more about improving her business and herself as a professional but struggles to find the time to read these kinds of books!

The vibe we create at Sally’s Book Club is welcoming, friendly and open. The space is as ‘non-worky’ as possible and there’s no pressure to read the whole book or speak frequently. The sessions are open to everyone each month and there’s no obligation to attend every month. We also encourage audio listening if traditional reading isn’t for you!
How do the monthly sessions work?
There are no rules or set criteria. I simply ask you to remember the importance of listening and being kind. Plus, there will be no sales pitches!
- Each session will be hosted on Zoom for 60 minutes (or 90 minutes when there’s an Author Q&A!). I will stay on after the session if attendees wish to chat for longer.
- Monthly sessions will be held on the last Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm (GMT).
- There will be 5 key questions/discussion points per session.
- There will be a 10-minute finale: What will we implement as a result of reading this book?
We plan the sessions 6 or so months in advance. Please get in touch with us if there are any books you’d like to add to our read-list and we’ll consider them for future sessions. From time to time we may even get an Author involved for a Q&A session!
